Reviews and Ratings
The hotel provided clean and comfortable rooms in a convenient location, with friendly staff. However, the dining options were limited. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable, but some aspects could be improved.
The hotel had spacious rooms, perfect for storing bikes inside, despite being a last-minute stay at a not top-rated resort. However, our particular unit was quite dark with multiple remotes for TV operation.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious but outdated and dirty, with a terrible mattress that made me feel every movement next to my husband. The lack of air conditioning and non-functional hot tub were disappointing, yet the big TVs were a plus. The unheated pool was a letdown.
The hotel is in a lovely mountain setting great for exploring Angel Fire, Red River, Taos, and Eagle's Nest. The rooms, although with outdated decor and cleanliness issues, offer a small microwave and refrigerator. The service is friendly but lacks detailed information about amenities. The coffee shop dining option may not suit all tastes. The location stands out for mountain lovers, though underwhelming maintenance. A mixed bag with value for money but enjoys beautiful views.
The Sunlodge condo units are spacious, but slightly distant from the entrance due to the room heat. Service to Lowe's market had friendly staff but lacked some information. The location is awesome with great mountain access but needs improvements. There's limited dining with Neapolitan pizza. The facilities are decent.
